Monday

8's 1: You had a work block to get through as much of your Island Map Design as possible. If you will NOT BE DONE by next Monday, you should be doing some homework.

10's: We had time to write that which affects us "deepest and hardest". 

8's 3: You had research time for notables. Please make sure you'll be done your notes on the 29th.


18th: Arrive with your timeline and your research questions.
18th-27th: Take clear, organized notes in the format of your choice, evaluating each source as you go.
29th: Evaluate your notes and your research habits. Fill in rubric. Submit.
Notes Due: November 29th, 2019

You will be graded on A&B&D for the notes, which must show the following:

·      Breadth and Depth of knowledge about required features of your “notables life” – check assignment sheet for that!
·      Notes that:
o   Show a research plan
o   Demonstrate clear, thoughtful research questions
o   Organized notes that show you know the difference between BIG IDEAS (example: Malala is an activist for human rights) vs. supporting details (example: listing her actions and achievements that show her activism for human rights).
o   That evaluate the QUALITY of your sources based on the CRAP criteria Ms. Leung went over with you on the library handout
