8's: Filming day today. Try to have MOST of your filming done by end of day on Friday.

10's: Worked through poems that use Science & Science Fiction tropes and references to develop their themes. Send me a draft of your essay by 5 pm Sunday and I'll give you feedback on the overall structure and argument.

HOW TO USE THIS SITE (PARENTS AND STUDENTS!)

This is so my students (and their parents!) can keep track of what has been assigned, as well as what has been done each day. It is easily accessed from home and school, and allows kids to double check deadlines and expectations whenever they need to.

YOU are responsible for checking this when you miss classes and for making sure that you keep up with assignments. "I didn't know!" is not an acceptable excuse. If it's here, you're responsible for it.

As well, since printers are often breaking, you may submit papers and smaller assignments to mkorber@sd38.bc.ca. If I receive it without problem, I'll send you a quick note back. If you don't get a note, please resend. Please follow guidelines as to how your submission should be labeled.

The format for submissions requires that your full name, your assignment title and whether you are using a MAC or PC program be both in the e-mail header, as well as the body of the work. It is REALLY important that if you're submitting on behalf of yourself and a partner, you include your partner's name as well.
